À propos de moi/About me

Photography and me, it’s a rather recent story. It started to take shape in 2008 after my first cancer. It became more important in 2019 after my second cancer. Self-taught, my choice finally and naturally went to landscape photography. Always different according to the weather conditions, and yet so stable. An anchor point on which I can rely on, just like my family’s. To draw from these periods of struggle, without trying to erase them because they mark me forever, to appreciate the simple things in life, within reach of the lens. If the great adventure is now a distant dream, the Auvergne and its landscapes bring me a satisfaction, an energy and a plenitude for which I am grateful every day. This unfailing will will carry me again.

It is above all the search for light and colors that guide me in my photographic work. Capturing light and colors allows me to magnify the beauty of nature, without distorting it. In search of an emotional dimension that only nature brings me.  It is the satisfaction of this need that I pursue and try to transmit, without losing the thread of a life marked by a form of pragmatism. I find this closeness to nature in my personal experience. The fight that she leads at any moment forces the admiration and to find myself alone with her is an inexhaustible source of well-being. For too long mistreated and ignored by man, her complaints have become inaudible, she remains the one and only challenge of humanity. May my photos and the emotions I hope to arouse, contribute to bring her out of the fog in the eyes of all and continue to accompany me in this resilience.
